Andalusia, Spain.

Small cargo ship arrives in El Puerto de Santa Maria and unloads an Austin 1100. It is driven away by a young couple. Via open country of grape vines they visit the town of Arcos de Frontera and the castle on the hill. They travel on a paddle steamer across the local lake. Visiting a vineyard they sample the sherry and like it so much they visit another. Sequence showing Coopers making barrels for wine. Inside a wine cellar designed by Eiffel

(the tower man ) with stacks of barrels. Some flashy wine pouring Spanish style and a mouse on a ladder sampling a glass of vino. Cobwebbed barrels with famous names on them i.e. Wellington, Pitt, Fox, Napoleon.

Next stop a Rancho for rearing bulls. A bull fight not showing pain and blood. The annual horse show at the military stud farm in Hereth (sp?) lots of horse and cart events and polo. Monuments of Cadiz as the Austin arrives, beach shots and sailing. On to the fishing port of Sanlucar de Barrameda, fishing boats lay on their side on the beach. Open country vineyards in the Hereth (?) area, workers picking the grapes and donkeys loaded with baskets.

Sherry sampling and blending. Mass of sherry barrels. Local festival, all dressed up and on horseback, big town parade with floats and costumes. Festival Queen and maids carry the grapes for blessing and pressing. Great shots of a mass of costumed ladies posing at the festival, great colour. Four men in cute shorts press the grapes by the old feet method.

Some stunning looking ladies perform Spanish flamenco dancing.
