This scene pits Magneto (Michael Fassbender) against Phoenix (Sophie Turner) in a sequence where a war of wills lead to pyrotechnics, errant helicopter blades and a superhero who takes a ride not on, but through, a few bicycles. In his narration, the writer and director Simon Kinberg discusses how he sought to create a set piece different from the kinds usually found in X-Men movies, while using real helicopters in the process.
