ABOUT
FUNNY STORY follows former 90’s TV heartthrob Walter Campbell (Matthew Glave, known from "Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce", "The Wedding Singer") as he attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter Nic (Jana Winternitz, known from "The Thinning") by inviting himself to crash her vacation in Big Sur. Things get complicated when he meets up with his daughter’s friend, Kim (Emily Bett Rickards, known from "Arrow", "Brooklyn") only to discover she has dark secrets of her own.

Featuring several lead LGBTQ characters and large female ensemble, FUNNY STORY is an award-winning tragicomedy you never saw coming. FUNNY STORY was an Official Selection and World Premiered at the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
