King's College London: Emily Davison - How far have women come 100 years on?

Saturday's Epsom Derby will mark the 100th anniversary of the race during which Emily Davison threw herself under King George V's horse, a moment that has come to symbolise women's fight to win the right to vote in Britain.

100 years on, academics from across King's examine Emily Davison's role in changing the course of history, and look at where women stand in the world today, drawing on changes in education, employment and Government:
