ป่า is a story from the rural North-East of Thailand, known as 'Isaan'.
It is the latest film by Paul Spurrier, whose film 'P' was the first Thai-language film directed by a westerner.
In this film, Paul Spurrier explores the life, culture, and spirit world of this very special part of Thailand.
Much of the film uses the local Isaan dialect, and the child actors all came from local schools.
This was a very personal project, made on a small budget, with most of it shot with a crew of only two - Paul and his wife Jiriya.
The film will be completed in November 2015
