Paradroid is still a massive cult hit among many C64 gamers, and this received the most votes in the Lemon64 video review poll, so what better way to continue than to check this game out. This weekend is Andrew Braybrook themed, so check out Rainbow Islands on LemonTubeAmiga.
Production Notes:
I always intended to review this game after Aztec Challenge so that I could get through a few fan requests, but as it turned out, and by coincidence, it went up against Rainbow Islands - so this review ended up being an introduction to Hewson, Graftgold, Steve Turner, and Andrew Braybrook; which was supposed to continue with Rainbow Islands on Amiga; and although they dont marry up perfectly its still nice to chart Andrews career this way. On the Amiga side, I had many requests to do a review of Paradroid 90. I cant play that game, so I used this opportunity to cover it here instead, and to kill two birds with one stone. Similarly, I show the C64 version of Rainbow Islands in the Amiga review to save me covering it twice.
