I love oil pulling!
Its an Ancient Ayurvedic technique thats anti-bacterial; anti-viral; helps to remove toxins from your body through the mouth; naturally good for the gums and teeth; will help with good breath and it has the added benefit of whitening your teeth over time!
At the start your mouth will get quiet tired and sore from it, but over time you’ll get used to it.
Start with 1 teaspoon of organic coconut oil (Im using Banaban in the video) place in your mouth and swirl around (like you’re rinsing your mouth out with water etc) for at least 2 minutes, I normally do 5 but you can go longer.

You will see that the longer you have the oil in your mouth the more creamy colour the oil becomes and it also gets really foamy and thickens slightly.

This is the toxins being drawn out.
Please – DO NOT SWALLOW!!!!!
And do not spit it down your sink as it’ll clog up the drain.
You are wanting to draw out the toxins and bacteria and then eliminate – not swallow it!
So when you’re finished spit the oil mixture from your mouth into a tissue/paper towel and place it in the bin.
I wipe my mouth out with a paper towel; rinse; and then brush my teeth with my natural bamboo toothbrush – don’t forget to scrap your tongue also! That is where a lot of bacteria builds up and can cause bad breath.

This is simply something that I find works for me and I am sharing it.
I am not making any medical claims or saying that this should be done over something else.
This is part of my routine and I find it amazing, but like everything – trial it out for yourself and see if it works for you.
Hint ::
If this is your first time Oil Pulling I suggest for you to take pictures and keep a record of before and afters. Hopefully you’ll be just as amazed as I was!
