Nick Hornby gives an insightful look at his work on paper and on screen, discussing his collaborations and the creative and logistic differences between writing novels and writing for the screen.

Hornby has won numerous awards and nominations for his bestselling novels, several of which he has adapted into screenplays, including High Fidelity (2000), About a Boy (2002) and A Long Way Down (2014).

He has also adapted othersโ€™ novels for the screen; in 2010 he was BAFTA and Oscar nominated for An Education in 2010, he adapted Cheryl Strayedโ€™s bestselling memoir Wild in 2014 and was BAFTA and Oscar nominated again for Brooklyn in 2016, which won the BAFTA for Outstanding British Film.
