Video Classics Australia trailer for the film "Horror Express" (1972) starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Telly Savalas.
***This trailer is presented as found***
***Trivia: Although it may look like it, this is not a Hammer Horror Film but rather a low budget Spanish production.
Most of the film was completed mute as this was to be sold to many countries around the world. Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Telly Savalas were the only ones to have their dialogue recorded in English on set. It is rumoured Christopher Lee re-dubbed his voice in other languages he could speak for.
Peter Cushing nearly walked off the set as this was his first film he made after the tragic death of his wife during Hammer's production of "Blood From the Mummy's Tomb". Christopher Lee took Peter out to lunch and they discussed all the films they worked together on in the past and this made Peter feel more relaxed and able to continue filming.
This is one of my favourite films
