This Bluebird Pas de Deux was filmed in Auckland in 1984 as a promo for the BBC for 'Dance Tales Story Ballets' using dancers from The Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet.
In those days it was filmed using 1 inch video tape and edited tape to tape, a considerable feat and very expensive.
There is another standard version but this has been remastered for HD.
Sandra Madgwick, David Yow and Melinda Palmer are the dancers and Carl Doye did the orchestration.
