The Summer Palace in Hua Hin, about 200km from Bangkok, was considered to be Thailand's late King Bhumobil Adulyaedi’s second home. He spent a great deal of his last years there. Because of this, the people of the seaside city have a very strong connection with the king. But it is also a community run by tourist dollars, which they might be seeing less of while Thailand mourns.
Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from Hua Hin.
