When luxury fashion label Stephan Boya did an audit of their marketing and branding they felt a need to re-align their visuals with the core of the brand which revolves around the sensual feeling of wearing cashmere very close on your naked skin.
Sensuality, intimacy and an very strong emotional connection to the fashion - these are the core values of the brand that they wanted to re-connect to.
“For this collection we decided to go back to our roots – which for us means a singular focus on the emotional, tactile and sensual aspects of cashmere – the worlds most luxurious material.
Earlier we were going for a urban, sexy and edgy vision but this was scaled back a bit for a more organic and analog touch.”
Once again we were blessed with having the gorgeous Michaela Bodenmiller in front of the camera proving her versatility and professionalism as a model.
This time around I experimented with, for me some new movements - a slight rotation of some of the frames. I wanted it to be barely perceptible - but still there. Can you see it?
I also started at the correct end of the editing workflow by laying doen the audio track first and editing the images to the soundscape and not the other way around. (This is of course basic Editing 101)
As usual we shot the video part on the tail end of the stills
