Fabrice du Welz makes an arresting return to the genre with the second opus in his Ardennes trilogy, which began with CALVAIRE.

Deeply rooted in the hostile Belgian landscapes of his childhood, this serial killer chiller is a quirky take on the real exploits of Martha Beck and Raymond Fernandez (dubbed 'The Honeymoon Killers'). Crazy crook Michel (Laurent Lucas) meets his murderous match when he hooks up with damaged single mother Gloria. (Lola Duenas). Duenas shines as needy Gloria who will stop at nothing to get what she wants and there is an equally stunning turn from CALVAIRE's Laurent Lucas.
