Tempest X3 video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Tempest X3 for the PlayStation developed by High Voltage Software and published by Interplay.
Tempest 2000 was a hit on the Atari Jaguar, so why not bring it to the PlayStation? Tempest X3 is the same game, only slightly updated for the move to Sony’s platform. The new version features updated graphics, new enemies and enemy behavior, tweaked boss battles and lots of new levels and level designs. Maybe it’s not such a slight update after all. Tempest X3 also features the arcade original, as well as the original version of Tempest 2000 as an unlockable bonus. It’s three Tempests crammed into one! And that’s awesome. Tempest X3 features single-player and local multiplayer play.
