The video is taken from a documentary on Alter TV from the late 1990s and indicates the extent to which Turkey's invasion of Cyprus in 1974 was characterised by depravity of the worst kind. Indeed, incidents of rape by Turkish soldiers and Turkish Cypriots against Greek women were so widespread that the Orthodox Church was compelled to relax its previous strictures on abortion.
