"Life During Wartime" Talking Heads LIVE

Here's my favorite track from the concert movie "Stop Making Sense". I'd love to have a conversation with each of the band members ...this was not your usual rock and roll band. The core members, Jerry Harrison, Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth and David Byrne certainly had the performance chops to pull off the filmed concert gig, but the addition of percussion player Steve Scales, guitarist Alex Weir from The Johnson Brothers and Parliament- Funkadelic's Bernie Worrell on keyboards plus backing singers Ednah Holt and Lynn Mabry jacked things up the groove level to that famous 11 on the Spinal Tap scale.

I saw David Byrne fronting an 18-piece Latin big band at the Greek Theater in LA about 3 years after this was shot. He was terrific that night, as you might imagine.
