14-year-old Sophia Mechetner from Holon became the new face of Dior. July 6, she first appeared on stage in Paris , opening the autumn-winter show.
The girl became a model by accident. She was discovered by the Israeli agency "Roberto". Roberto decided Sofia has a great potential. He organized a meeting with the girl with famous French model company Viva. This is an agency working with super-models, and it had never collaborated with the Israelis. Sofia was appointed a photo shoot in Paris. But when Viva saw how young the model was, her photo session was canceled.
Sofia and her representative of the Israeli agency "Roberto" felt that they had failed. They have to return to Israel but had two days off in Paris.
