Watch as Better Homes and Gardens shows you how to bake cheesecake perfectly every time! This simple cheesecake recipe is easy to dress up with stir-ins and toppers. To make this dessert recipe, preheat the oven to 350 degrees, then make the cheesecake crust. Mix 1 3/4 cups of crushed graham crackers with 14 cups of finely chopped almonds in a medium bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, if you'd like. You could also add ginger or pumpkin pie spice. After stirring, mix in 1/2 cup of melted butter and mix well, using less butter if you used cookies in the cheesecake crust recipe instead of graham crackers. Press the crust into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan up about 1 1/2 inches. For the easy cheesecake recipe, beat 3 eggs lightly and set aside. Mix 2 8-ounce packages of softened cream cheese, 1 8-ounce container of sour cream, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract together in a large bowl, beating together well until smooth. Add the eggs once the cheesecake dessert is completely blended, gently stirring them in to prevent aerating the batter. At this point, add in cheesecake toppings that you'd like and stir them in, such as mixed berries or chocolate pieces. Pour the filling into the prepared springform pan and bake for 1 hour, placing the springform pan into a shallow roasting pan and pouring water into the roasting pan to reach halfway up the sides. The baked cheesecake is done when the edges jiggle slightly, but allow it to sit in the off oven for another hour in the water bath. Allow it to cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes after this time, and loosen the crust, letting it cool for another 30 minutes. Chill this covered cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving. Try this easy cheesecake recipe for an dessert recipe your family will love!
