Finally, peace takes hold of Middle Earth and it is time for the rightful King of Men to take the throne. The song is one of victory - very peaceful yet triumphant. Again we hear allusions to the Shire, something consistent throughout the merry parts of the CDs.
Viggo Mortensen also has a part in the Return of the King soundtrack. Although Shore's music gives the primary essence to the song, Viggo has an important part, he is one of two men to sing in the soundtrack. (Except for Billy Boyd, but he is in the movie itself)
The celebration at the end is simply awe inspiring. It is set at the very top level of the White City with an entire host of people their to view the crowning. Aragorn and Arwen are also reunited after an incredibly long time apart. Their joy is boundless, and the joy of the people of the city is at an all time high as well.
We also see all of the hobbits given a great deal of respect by the Men of the West for their part. The joy of the city is boundless, and a new Tree is growing in the White City.
