This song is absolutely spectacular. It hightlights the battle between the Men of Rohan and the warg riders of Saruman. The glorious battle song resounds in the background as the warriors advance on horseback towards the enemy.
It also displays Helm's Deep as a grand fortress - capable of withholding any attack. Indeed, Theoden states that no enemy has ever breached the Deeping Wall. This place will be the location of the great battle at the end of this film.
This song also displays the apparent fall of Aragorn. Although this isn't in the books, Aragorn is shown as falling off a cliff. The Men leave him for dead. Fortunately, Aragorn is saved by his horse and by Arwen. He is then able to see the Uruks marching and is able to give a little bit of forewarning to his companions.
