Playboy's Tamara Witmer is a Los Angeles-born model, signed and slated at the tender age of three. She is notable as Playboy's Miss August 2005 and as the cover girl for the October 2006 issue. A pop favorite in Playboy land, Tamara has been featured on the covers and spreads of more than 25 national, international, and special editions of Playboy, which include covers in Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine and Spain.
Prior to her stint as a Playmate, Tamara established herself as an accomplished fitness, swimsuit, and lingerie model. At 19, she won two model searches in Miami, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas, simultaneously catapulting her to her first two magazine covers. She was subsequently chosen as team captain for the infamous "Lingerie Bowl" (a Superbowl Halftime pay-per-view show).
By age 22, Tamara was a major player on the publications playground, landing covers and spreads in Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, Maxim U.S., Maxim Belgium, Maxim France, Muscle & Fitness, Steppin' Out, and People Australia. All this on top of a plethora of print ads she appeared in. Within three years, she was the face of more than 30 covers and 50 editorial features.
Tamara's TV and film career began as she attained Playboy notoriety, having landing a main feature in the 2005 Eminem music video "Ass Like That. Her first big role at the time was in Roger Corman's Sci-fi Thriller, "Supergator". For a period, she was a briefcase model on the NBC's hit gameshow "Deal or No Deal". Tamara has made appearances on VH1's "Rock of Love" and "I Love Money 2". Currently, she is the chosen love interest in the 6th season of Bravo's "The Millionaire Matchmaker", slated for debut in January 2013.
