Hollywood on Parade was a series of short subjects produced by Paramount Pictures between 1932 and 1934. They showcased the studio's stars both in newsreel-type footage (glimpses of Hollywood figures at premieres, parties, the races, etc.) and in new material such as sketches or musical numbers. The print quality of these isn't the greatest, but nevertheless there's some interesting stuff here. Also note that there's a numbering system associated with these shorts, but because some of the information I've found is conflicting and confusing, I just made up my own numbers to differentiate between them.

In this installment, Buster Crabbe welcomes some beauty contest winners to Hollywood. Lloyd Hamilton is taking pictures around town that evening and takes the gals with him. First they attend the premiere of the new Mae West picture, I'm No Angel. There they see Richard Barthelmess, Alison Skipworth, Walter Huston, Jack Oakie, Loretta Young, Russ Columbo, George Raft, Charlie Chaplin and Paulette Goddard, and Jackie Cooper, among others. Next, Lloyd and the gals visit an event honoring Cecil B. DeMille's twentieth anniversary in the movie business. Finally, they take a look at all the famous folks attending a costume party; this time around, the stars are supposed to dress as other stars. Some of the attendees are Gloria Swanson, Polly Moran, Fay Wray, Lilyan Tashman and Edmund Lowe, the Marx Brothers, Gary Cooper, Mary Pickford, Cary Grant, and Fredric March.
