Music clips culled from the season 6 episode "Blues" of "Mission Impossible" in which female singer Judy Saunders (actress Gwenn Mitchell) rehearses Sam Cooke's song "You Send Me" at her pad. In the apartment of the IMF, Jim Phelps (actor Peter Graves) lets Judy Saunders' last recording play and cuts it cold. IMF agent Barney Collier (Greg Morris), posing as singer Johnny Crane, pops up in the recording studio of gangster Stu Gorman (actor William Windom) and briefs the musicians. In his crummy flat, Barney is listening to Judy Saunder's interpretation of "You Send Me" on a record player when henchman Tanner stops the needle. Barney performs his tribute to the late Judy Saunders through the song "Judy's Gone Now" in order to awake Gorman's memories. IMF agent Willy Armitage (actor Peter Lupus) plays Judy Saunders' last recording and stops it dead in front of her colleague Casey (actress Lynda Day George). Barney performs Otis Redding's "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" with his band. Imitator Art Warner (John Crawford) and Jim Phelps are listening to Judy Saunders' last recording in a studio. Barney continues to perform "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay".

Composer Benny Golson arranges the songs of actress Gwenn Mitchell and actor Greg Morris. The song "Judy's Gone Now" is written by both Benny Golson and Greg Morris. Notice the return of a guitarist in the background he also appears in the rival Desilu series "Mannix" and in the season 5 "The Glass Trap".
