Dunia (2005) Trailer

Dunia (Hanan Tork), a student who studies poetry and dance, suffers emotional and psychological distress from being circumcised as a little girl. Her husband Mamdooh (Fathi Abdul Wahab) accuses her of cutting him out and forbids her to dance in public. Dunia refuses to give in to his restrictions, continuing to follow her passion. Meanwhile Dunia grows closer to her university professor Besheer El Masry (Mohommad Mounir) who lost his eyesight while defending his beliefs. Will Dunia risk getting closer to her professor or will she abide by the social traditions that restrict her enjoying life?
