This score was the fourth collaboration between Maurice Jarre and David Lean and resulted in yet another Oscar(his third) for the composer.
This is a brilliant theme played during the main titles and rife with the great orchestration that we expect from Jarre. The theme is sparsely used in the movie but this is the most magnificent statement of the theme which represents the title character Adela's inner confusion.
