Song 1 After the great success of the song 'Great Speckled Bird,' Roy was encouraged to record a new version, one that he wrote, this originally had seven verses which wouldn't fit on one side of a disk back then, so Roy had shorten to it by 3 verses.
Song 2 Roy version of House of the Rising Sun, is among the first major commercial recordings of this traditional ballad, Although the Animals rendition will be better known, this is worthy of recognition too!
