Here's another great Oscar nominated song that deserved to win. Johnny Mandell's song was from the forgettable "An American Dream" from the Norman Mailer book. Johnny won the Oscar the previous year for THE SHADOW of Your Smile. This rare clip showacses the lovely Leigh as a cabaret sing (she's dubbed by the great Jackie Ward who dubbed Natalie Wood in The Great Race. Barbra Streisand recorded this song on her latest album (2009)
