Just on the day you are sad
But it is not meaningful
I am hurt but will continue to suffer if I can
Until that candle is extinguished forever
I will be there to provide a light
Although I may not reach your heart
The light might just be enough for you to see
At least temporarily

And I don't have to hope that there will be more than this
