WARNING THIS VIDEO CONTAINS SPOILERS

Malicious (aka Malizia 1973) is an Italian comedy. The original title Malizia is Italian for "malice". It was entered into the 23rd Berlin International Film Festival.

Directed by Salvatore Samperi

Writing Credits Ottavio Jemma, Alessandro Parenzo, Salvatore Samperi

In 1973 the director hailing from Italy's Veneto region made his best, most successful film upon its release "Malizia" broke all box office records and earned sexy Laura Antonelli enormous popularity. The film, set in '50s Sicily, is a skilful blend of Radiguet meets Brancati in its portrayal of the rise of a saucy waitress to the status of lady, paved with senile dementia and adolescent erotic agitation.

The winning formula is repeated in "Lovers and Other Relatives (Peccato veniale)" (1974).

Laura Antonelli (born 28 November 1941) is a retired Italian film actress, who appeared in 45 movies between 1965 and 1991. She won the David di Donatello prize in 1973 and 1981 and the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists Award, Nastro d'Argento in 1974. her breakthrough came in 1973's Malizia. She appeared in a number of sex farces such as Till Marriage Do Us Part/Mio Dio come sono caduta in basso!.
