Manuale of Love is a 2005¬ Italian blockbuster love comedy composed of four episodes. It was directed by Giovanni Veronesi, The film is composed of four episodes, each following a different couple, each focusing on a particular stage in the story of a typical love relationship. Here, only a few scenes from the first episode --"Innamoramento (falling in love) Giulia and Tommaso (Jasmine Trinca and Silvio Muccino) meet and fall in love" are shown.
Jasmine Trinca (born 1981 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian actress. She began her career in 2001, chosen by Nanni Moretti for his award-winning The Son's Room, receiving the Guglielmo Biraghi prize as best new talent of the year. In 2004, she won a Nastro d'Argento for The Best of Youth (La meglio gioventù). She played again with Moretti in the controversial Il caimano (2006). Silvio Muccino was born in Rome on April 14, 1982. Graduated from Rome's Arts High School and enrolled in the Arts Faculty of Rome's La Sapienza University. He started his career in the Italian cinema usually playing lead roles in movies directed by his brother Gabriele. His first appearance was in the film But Forever in My MIND (1999), where Muccino plays the lead role of a student participating a school occupation as a protest against the homologation of students. Muccino then starred in movies such as Ricordati di me (2003), Che ne sarà di noi (2004). After his beginning with his brother, Muccino has appeared in other Italian movies such as The Card Player (2004, directed by Dario Argento), Manuale d'amore (2005), Il mio miglior nemico(2005). In 2008 he made his debut as a director with the movie Parlami d'amore.
