SUPER 6 (1966) Theme by GARY LEWIS & THE PLAYBOYS (HQ)

★ SUPER 6 was DePatie-Freleng Enterprise's first Saturday morning cartoon show, initially broadcast on NBC-TV from September 10, 1966 to January 21, 1967 and continued in repeats until August 31, 1969 when it was replaced by THE PINK PANTHER SHOW.
The "Super 6" consisted of ELEVATOR MAN, GRANITE MAN, MAGNETO MAN, SUPER SCUBA, SUPER BWOING, and CAPTAIN WHAMMO - whom underwent a name change to CAPTAIN ZAMMO when toy manufacturer WHAM-O cited trademark ownership of the name.
★ The theme song was sang by Gary Lewis (of The Playboys, best known for the chart topping "This Diamond Ring" in 1965).
