The spin-off of the film M*A*S*H which had a fairly successful run on CBS from 1979 to 1986. Pernell Roberts played 'Trapper John' McIntyre 28 years after he had left the 4077th MASH. The series had Trapper working as chief of surgery at the San Francisco Memorial Hospital.
