Plot Manfred, the star of Berlin's Apollo Theatre, has to shoot a film in Barcelona. There, he meets Manuela del Orta. He sees in her his ideal partner for a new show in Berlin. He is successful in inviting her to perform as a guest, but in the last minute, she is forced to cancel because of illness. When the two meet again after a year apart, he doesn't immediately recognize Manuela. She under another name becomes a member of the chorus. He, however, falls in love with her, they marry and he recognizes her by accident...
