Alfred Hitchcock's movie "The Ring" is a classic "love triangle" story of a woman trapped between prize fighting suitors. "The Ring" is the only film Hitchcock took or was given full writing credits in his entire career, and did not base the scenario on a novel. The director himself rated this silent film as amongst his best, right along with "The Lodger". It was also the first film on which he worked with his future wife Alama Reville.
