"Dented Fender" Director John Rich, Writers Jesse Goldstein, Phil Sharp, Sherwood Schwartz. This episode has a timely theme Which gender is the better driver, male or female? After dinner they hear a crash outside. Brad assumes it's their neighbor, Mrs. Lang, knocking over a trashcan. Joan is sure that Mr. Lang did the crashing. Joan tells Brad "Well after all dear, everybody knows that men don't drive as carefully as women do." Brad counters with "Joanie, are you kidding? Letting a woman get near to a steering wheel is like letting a lit match get near a stick of dynamite." The question is, who is putting all those dents in the Stevens' car? Brad suggests that they alternate weeks driving so then they'll know for sure who might make any new dents. The first week is Brad's. Joan can't resist a sale on nylons. She takes the car. It comes back with a dented fender. She asks sister Beverly (Beverly Wills) to enlist her boyfriend Tom (Tom Peters) to fix it, and all goes downhill from there! Features a guest appearance by Joseph Kearns (an IMJ frequent flyer and Mr. Wilson on TV's "Dennis the Menace") as Morton Clark.
