"Tropical Fish" Director John Rich. Writers Sherwood Schwartz, Jesse Goldstein, Lou Derman. Brad's obsession with his tropical fish collection is giving Joan fish hallucinations. Her sister Beverly (Joan's real-life daughter Beverly Wills) suggests that Joan take an interest in the hobby. Joan goes to the pet store and unknowingly buys a fighter fish, "Cambodia Betta Splenden," from the salesman (Tom Peters, who appears a few episodes later as Bev's boyfriend Tom). Joan puts it in the tank and the next morning all that's left is one very large, very sated fish! Brad is most upset about the "Tropicanus Africana," an extremely rare fish. Joan finds out that the president of the Aquarium Society owns one and goes there to steal it. Mayhem ensues. Great vocal work by the Roger Wagner Chorale in the fish-hallucination sequence very "Cristo Redentor!"
