I Married Joan S2-18 1/2 Bev's Mistaken Marriage 02/10/1954

"Bev's Mistaken Marriage" Director John Rich. Writers Jesse Goldstein, Phil Sharp, Sherwood Schwartz. Beverly and Tom (Beverly Wills and Tom Peters,) help fellow college students Ralph and Janet elope. Brad and Joan think it's Bev and Tom doing the runaway nuptials and throw an impromptu party. There's a lot of fun dialogue in this one. The last scene plays like a vaudeville sketch with Joan introducing the guests to each other multiple times. Mid-episode she does some funny physical shtick with a telephone cord tangled in her jacket sleeve. Another one of their college chums, the bespectacled "Roy," is billed as "Richard Sargent." a.k.a. Dick Sargent, Darren #2 of "Bewitched!" He's seen briefly in the Malt Shop scene and has some lines in the party scene. Features Geraldine Carr as Mabel along with Philip Tonge as Judge Cushing, Bill Brian, Jan Shepard, Marilyn Burtis, Aileen Stanley, John Lupton, Norman Dupont, and Lorraine Crawford.
