X Factor Rylan Clark's Rock Chick Makeup Challenge | Rimmel London Tutorial

Julia Carta X Factor's chief makeup artist is doing a rock chick makeup challenge with X Factor's very own Rylan Clark.

Julia first shows how it's done. Begin by applying the gel eyeliner with a fine brush keeping it really messy. Then blend it in and elongate the line from the outer corners to create a long flick. Finish off by using a bit of concealer to clean up around the eye which helps to make the dark eye makeup stand out.

Rylan has a go at recreating Julia's rock chick eye makeup. He begins by using the gel eyeliner and later realises he's picked up the blue gel liner instead of the black. Next Rylan uses lip gloss on the eyelid to create a gorgeous glossy shine. His top tip is to apply it on your hand to avoid getting eyeshadow on the brush.

Next Rylan uses Wake Me Up concealer under the eye and applies it using a sponge. He then uses blue eyeshadow to the lower lashes to add a blue shimmer.

To apply the bronzer Rylan's tip is to bite the inside of your cheeks so that where it indents you apply the bronze shimmer.

Even though the eyes don't match Rylan's done a superb job creating the rock chick look.
