If there's one television program you should be watching right now, it's definitely 'Breaking Bad'. I can't remember the last time a show left me shaking in anticipation as consistently as 'Breaking Bad'. Each and every episode is a non stop rush of pure suspense which must have been extremely hard for Vince Gilligan and company to pull off for four straight seasons. As for the fifth and final season coming up in a few weeks, I have no doubt that it will be just as brilliant.
'Breaking Bad' is an extensive character piece that chronicles the downfall of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a high school chemistry teacher turned meth cook after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. He turns to cooking methamphetamine in hopes to provide the substantial amount of money his family will need once he's gone. Along with his assistant and former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), Walter digs himself into an unbearable life of crime, lies and regret; only to discover that there is no turning back.
I put together this tribute as an expression of my love for this show. I also did my best to make it as fittingly SPOILER FREE as possible, in hopes that it might convince many of you to watch this brilliant piece of television. If you aren't already, you're really missing out on something special guys.
The final season of 'Breaking Bad' begins on July 15th on AMC!
