Brian DePalma's groundbreaking 1968 counterculture film, GREETINGS!, was the very first film to receive an X rating from the newly created MPAA. This is the 1st of 3 compilation clips that show why the film is classic, though they dont include any of the extensive nudity that was the reason for the film's adult classification. DePalma created a sequel in 1970 called "Hi Mom!", which had its own bouts of censorship difficulties with the MPAA, before it was finally granted an R after a few minor cuts.
In this first segment, Jon (Robert DeNiro) and Lloyd (Gerrit Graham) try to keep Paul (Jonathan Warden) awake for days on end, so that he will be suitable haggard looking for his upcoming army physical to see if he is fit to be drafted. In the meantime, they instruct him on how to act crazy during the examinations.
