Based on "Vampire The Masquerade" role playing game, this 8 episode series airred in 1996, and while I had heard of it, it wasn't until last year I finally watched it, and when I finally got ahold of the DVD, I figured I would do my usual thing and make an alternate opening.
Originally, I wanted to do a vampire show's opening credits to Lady Gaga's "Teeth", but after some preliminary work, I felt this song didn't work for this show, so I switched back to the original opening theme.
This show, while it took some liberties with the lore of the role playing game (such as having vampires walk in daylight if they had recently fed), had a lot of potential and gained a cult following that would have allowed a second season to be made, if not for the sudden death of star Mark Frankel.
All the characters in the credits are main characters, but I also included Brian Thompson, who in the original run was creditted as "Special Guest Star" in every episode. [SPOILER WARNING!!!] His character was killed off in the 6th episode, but he was a major part of the show's plot for those 6 episodes, and in todays television standards, he would have been included just to make his death mor surprising, such as Nick in "Secret Circle" and Sheriff Graham in "Once Upon A Time".
Clips/music are the property of their respective owners, I own nothing here.
