Short Cut to Nirvana is an award winning documentary about the Kumbh Mela spiritual festival.

In this clip, yogi Ramanand Puri urges Westerners to find time to sit in the power of silence daily.

The Maha Kumbh Mela (Great Festival of the Urn) takes place every twelve years near the Indian town of Allahabad.

Pilgrims gather here from all over India and around the world gurus, spiritual leaders and their devotees, and ascetic sadhus who emerge from their solitary forest retreats and mountain caves.

With over 70 million people attending, the Maha Kumbh Mela is the biggest gathering in the history of humanity.

Short Cut to Nirvana was produced and directed by Maurizio Benazzo and Nick Day.
