Oersted is a studio album by the Japanese noise musician, Merzbow. It has a notably colorful appearance the original album cover is pink, while the interior and CD are bright green. Later repressings used a black and white cover.

The second Untitled track was remixed on the track "Micromedley" from the 1996 album Scumtron, the track was mixed along with several other tracks from other Merzbow albums.

MA plays various tapes, ems synthia, metallic electronica, various filters, processed audio mixer.
Basic materials recorded at ZSF Produkt during late 1995-96. Some part of raw materials recorded on 1993 remixed by live tape manipulation with mk2 filter in ZSF Produkt, June 1996.
Digipak.

In my own words... (This a my own personal short review and opinion of the entire album, Oersted)

Oersted is possibly one of the fucking greatest noise albums of our time.
Merzbow is a GOD, A pure genius among Others!
His very unique and astounding work is replaced by harsh ear-splitting noise, hissing static, and mind-raping feedback.
Oersted is a must-have for anyone who loves Noise music or Dark Experimental kinds of music.
Anyone who is in to Industrial who love this album.
It is a perfect example of Harsh Noise music.
Pop Music is basically dying.
Pop Artists are lying on the floor, badly beaten in a pool of their own blood.
Later, to be raped and fucked in their own puddle of blood, as well.
Our world is simply dead inside, where is your God now?
Pop Media will one day crumple under the blood-stained hands of Noise Music.
Enjoy.

P.S. At 0144 - 0200 you can hear a person gagging, vomiting, and retching in the background of the noise.
Pure genius yet again, is Merzbow!

P.S.S. I am only uploading this for non-commercial listening, viewing, feedback, and entertainment purposes.
All rights go to Masami Akita (Merzbow), and to the label Vinyl Communications.
