zeroheadroom.com and Drive By Theater present a short film starring The Rocky Horror meastro himself Richard O' Brien from 1977
The Contraption directed by James Dearden who went on to write Adrian Lyne's Fatal Attraction and his own directorial effort Rogue Trader, this oddity is an effective atmospheric short as they should be made. Not the highly stylised tosh you see nowadays shot on crappy flat video. what's it about? a guy is building an unknown contraption while being berated by his offscreen wife, the dialogue is kept at a minimum witht the visuals keeping the film going. High on atmosphere and a simple must for those who are cult film completists and love short films. Filmmakers nowadays can take a few pointers too!
