Guess what-MTV is jumping on the vampire bandwagon with a brand series called "Valemont." Keep watching for all the details.

Joslyn Davis in Beverly Hills with ClevverTV's look at how MTV and Verizon are teaming up to take advantage of the entertainment world's complete obsession with blood suckers. The new series, called "Valemont," follows a girl a girl named Sophie as a she searches for her brother Eric, who has seemingly disappeared after attending Valemont University.

Once there, Sophie discovers that Valemont is actually a school within a school where vampires come to learn how to restrain themselves from feeding on humans, and acquire the ability to exist in society. Eric was murdered by vampires hanging out on frat row, and the primary clue in the whole caper is the only existing piece of evidence-Eric's Verizon Wireless cell phone. One writer is referring the series as Harry Potter's Hogwarts school for Vampires...sounds like an excellent analogy.

So, what makes this series different than the various other shows and movies we are already seeing everywhere. Well, the coolest thing is probably the format. Like I mentioned, Verizon is one half of the team behind this project. The bulk of the two minute episodes will air during other hit-MTV shows like "The Hills." Plus, Verizon phones and texting capabilities will have a big impact on the story line of the show. MTV thinks this will drive more people to their website where "Valemont" will have a strong presence. And because Verizon is indirectly advertising in the the short shows, we're guessing that commercial breaks won't be necessary.

Nicky Blonsky is the biggest known star in the minisode series. So what do you guys think? Do we really need another vampire show or this just too much? And what do you guys think of the interesting new format? Hit up the comments section to weigh in.

Keep coming back to ClevverTV for more in the world of entertainment. I'm Joslyn Davis reminding you that if you want to be clevver all the time, all you have to do is subscribe to all of our channels and follow us on Twitter. Thanks for watching!
