Chrome is an underrated FPS released in 2003. PC Gamer's review said its gameplay was just as good as the first Halo and it did measure up (they were released on the PC in the same month). Chrome had vast outdoor environments, vehicles and great artistic design.
Although the main character is voiced by the guy who does Duke Nukem, the story for Chrome is predictable. Plus some the the weapons aren't as varied as in Halo. Like Deus Ex Invisible War, Chrome has primitive rag-doll physics.
Overall, Chrome was fun to play then and it is now. Chrome 2 has been announced and there some awesome pics at Gamespot, but there is no release date.
