Written by Keith Moon
Recorded at Pye Studios, October 1966. Keith's second song on the album involved the group marching up and down past a mono mike because Kit Lambert , years ahead of his time, thought this might create a 'stereo' effect. Keith played orchestral cymbals, Pete was on penny whistle, Roger blew the trombone and John played the trumpet. The following year 'Cobwebs And Strange' was to manifest itself on The Who Sell Out as 'Heinz Baked Beans' and 27 years later, Pete opened his act with a great version of this song on his 1993 solo U.S. tour.
