Mytheon is a F2P(free to play) MMORPG(massive multiplayer online role-playing game) by Petroglyph Games.
Mytheon requires no initial fee to download or create an account, players are allowed to download and play the game for free. Mytheon is currently in its Open Beta period(30.4.2010).
Mytheon is based on Greek and Egyptian mythology, and plays like a classic action RPG.
The gameplay in Mytheon revolves around so-called "Power Stones". These stones allow their caster to summon structures, mythological creatures or unleash spells on an opponent. Players can have several of these stones active at any given time, so the strategy aspect focuses on the control and use of these conjured stone objects.
Classes
- Warcaster
Warcasters descend from the ancient warriors of Greece. are a melee oriented class with some supportive capabilities. They have high hitpoints and armor making them the most ideal tank in the game.
- Elementalist
Elementalists are the primary spell casting and damage dealing class, with the largest selection of spell stones, they can command the destructive forces of Air, Earth, Fire and Water to lay waste to the battlefield.
- Eidolon
Hailing from the sands of Egypt, the spiritually-oriented Eidolon class, are a mix between Warcasters and Elementalists. They can play the supportive role of a healer, an aggressive damage dealer or strike a balance between the two.
