The Basement

USA, Germany (2010) On a deserted crossing, Tarek awaits the trafficker Faruk to hand over his long lost girlfriend. But things go terribly wrong and Tarek must hide his girlfriend in the trunk of his car while escaping. An off-duty police officer, Gabriel, becomes suspicious of Tarek and follows him. Now Tarek is forced to abandon the car and hide in an old factory. But Gabriel pursues and, just as they have a showdown, they find themselves trapped in the basement of the factory. Now they must come together as they attempt to get out and survive.
