Unai Emery Etxegoien (Spanish pronunciation: [uˈnai ˈemeɾi]; born 3 November 1971) is a Spanish football manager, currently in charge of Sevilla FC.
During his playing days, spent almost exclusively in Segunda División – 215 matches in seven years – he played as a left midfielder. He subsequently embarked on a managerial career, spending several seasons in La Liga with Valencia, where he led the team to several third-place finishes.
In 2013 Emery signed with Sevilla, taking the club to consecutive Europa League victories.
